The historic Hixon House, built in 1859, was originally the home of lumber baron Gideon Hixon. Today, the home maintains the same 19th century furnishings and architecture it was originally endowed with, offering visitors a chance to peek in to the life and times of the Victorian Period. The home is located within walking distance of Riverside Park, near the city center.
Open Memorial Day to Labor Day Tues. to Sun. 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sept. to mid-Oct. Sat. and Sun. 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Holiday Tours also available during Nov. and Dec.
Adults: $8.50, Seniors (55+) $7.50, Children 12 and under $4.50
